Policies
At Weddings On The Run, our goal is to make your ceremony experience simple, meaningful, and stress-free. Please review the following policies carefully before booking.
Booking & Deposits
A nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your ceremony date and time.
All deposits are nonrefundable and non-transferable. Your deposit is applied toward the total cost of your selected ceremony experience.
Rescheduling a confirmed ceremony requires a new deposit.
On Your Marks and Get Set ceremonies may be booked directly online. Your ceremony is not reserved until the required deposit has been successfully paid and you have received confirmation of your booking.
GO and Finish Line begin with an availability inquiry. Submission of an inquiry form does not constitute a booking and does not reserve or guarantee your requested date or time. Weddings On The Run will contact you regarding availability and next steps.
Payments
Payment requirements vary by ceremony experience and will be provided during booking.
For the GO experience, a $499 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your ceremony date. The remaining $500 balance is due seven days before your ceremony.
Unless otherwise specified for your selected ceremony experience, all remaining balances must be paid by the payment deadline provided with your booking. Failure to submit payment by the required deadline will result in cancellation of the ceremony and forfeiture of the deposit.
All outstanding balances must be paid in full before any services are rendered.
Holiday & Premium Date Pricing
Love doesn’t take holidays, and neither do we! Weddings On The Run is pleased to offer ceremony services on many holidays and other high-demand dates. Holiday and premium-date rates apply, and availability may vary by officiant. Your applicable rate will be displayed when booking.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans sometimes change.
Ceremonies may be canceled at least three business days before the scheduled ceremony date without forfeiture of payments made beyond the nonrefundable deposit.
Cancellations made within three business days of the scheduled ceremony will result in forfeiture of all payments made, including the deposit, ceremony balance, and applicable travel fees.
Deposits remain nonrefundable and non-transferable regardless of when a cancellation occurs.
Rescheduling requires a new deposit and is subject to availability.
Timeliness & Late Arrivals
Weddings On The Run performs multiple ceremonies throughout the day, making timeliness essential to providing every couple with the experience and attention they deserve.
Please arrive and be prepared to begin your ceremony at your scheduled time.
Arrivals 15 minutes or more after the scheduled appointment time will result in an additional $50 inconvience fee. The inconvenience fee must be paid before mariage documentaion is completed and returned to the appropriate jurisdiction.
Arrivals 30 minutes or more after the scheduled appointment time will result in cancellation of the ceremony and forfeiture of all amounts paid.
We appreciate your consideration for your officiant and the couples scheduled after you.

On Your Marks is our streamlined legal signing experience.
Get Set offers a meaningful elopement-style ceremony with vows and the option to exchange rings.
GO provides an elevated, personalized ceremony experience with additional planning, customization, guidance, and travel to your chosen location.
The Finish Line Experience is our most immersive offering, providing a fully guided wedding experience from planning through celebration.

How do I reserve my ceremony date and time?
On Your Marks and Get Set ceremonies can be booked online. Visit our Pricing Information page, select your ceremony experience, choose BOOK NOW, and follow the prompts to select your officiant, date and time and pay your nonrefundable deposit.
Interested in GO or The Finish Line Experience? Select CHECK AVAILABILITY to submit an inquiry. Weddings On The Run will contact you regarding availability and next steps.

Do you offer wedding ceremonies in Sapnish?
Yes! Weddings On The Run offers wedding ceremonies in both English and Spanish.
Spanish-language ceremonies are officiated by Marilynn, our bilingual wedding officiant. Couples who prefer to have their ceremony performed in Spanish can book directly with Marilynn.

Do you officiate LGBTQ+ ceremonies?
Absolutely. Every love story is welcome here. Weddings On The Run is honored to serve couples of all backgrounds and create ceremony experiences rooted in mutual love, respect, and shared intention.
How long do ceremonies last?
Ceremony length depends on the experience you select.
On Your Marks is a streamlined legal signing rather than a traditional ceremony.
Get Set ceremonies generally last approximately 10–15 minutes.
GO ceremonies are personalized according to the couple’s selected ceremony elements and vision.
The Finish Line Experience allows up to 30 minutes for the wedding ceremony as part of the larger celebration experience.

Weddings on the Run understands that the real party begins AFTER you say “I do”!
How do I change my last name?
Name changes are separate from the wedding ceremony and marriage-license process.
Please contact the appropriate government agencies for current instructions regarding changing your name on Social Security records, identification, financial accounts, and other documents.
What if we don’t have rings?
No rings, no worries! Rings are not required to create a meaningful ceremony experience.
If your selected ceremony includes a ring exchange and you prefer not to exchange rings, that portion can simply be omitted.
Do we have to write our own vows?
Not at all.
Depending on your selected ceremony experience, you may choose standard vows, personal vows, or a simple exchange in which your officiant guides you through your promises.
GO couples also receive guidance in developing personal vows as part of their personalized ceremony experience.
Do you travel?
Yes.
Our Marathon travel option is available for eligible ceremony experiences when you would like Weddings On The Run to come to your chosen location.
GO includes local travel within a one-hour radius as part of the experience.
Travel outside our standard service area may require additional arrangements and is subject to availability. Please contact Weddings On The Run for extended-travel inquiries.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule our Ceremony date?
Cancellations are no fun, but life happens, and we aren’t always prepared. Please review our Cancellation Policy before booking.
Are travel fees includedin the cerremony price?
Travel inclusions depend on the ceremony experience selected.
GO includes local travel within a one-hour radius.
For eligible packages that do not include travel, the Marathon travel option may be added when you would like Weddings On The Run to come to your location.

Is the wedding officiant required at rehearsals?
An officiant-led rehearsal is not automatically included with every ceremony experience.
GO includes a same-day guided rehearsal.
The Finish Line Experience also includes a guided rehearsal as part of the experience.

Will the deposit be deducted from my total price?
Yes. Your deposit is applied toward the total price of the ceremony experience you select.

I submitted a GO or Finish Line inqiry. Is my date reserved?
Not yet.
GO and Finish Line inquiry forms are used to request availability and provide Weddings On The Run with information about your desired ceremony.
Submitting the form does not constitute a booking and does not reserve or guarantee a date or time. Weddings On The Run will contact you regarding availability and the next steps required to secure your ceremony.
After the ceremony, what else do we need to do for our marriage to be legally registered?
Nothing! Weddings on the run will be sure to swiftly return your documentation to the correct jurisdiction after your ceremony. From there, you’re all set! Please keep in mind that name changes are done separately from the marriage certificate process. Please inquire with your local county clerk for information regarding name changes.
What if I need help with an On Your Marks or Get Set booking?
On Your Marks and Get Set ceremonies are available for online booking through our Pricing Information page.
If you experience difficulty with the booking process or need additional assistance, call or text Weddings On The Run at 1-855-RUN-4-LUV (1-855-786-4588).
How many guests may we bring to the Cincinnati location?
On Your Marks is designed for the couple only.
Get Set accommodates the couple plus up to eight guests at our Cincinnati location.
GO is performed at the couple’s chosen location, so guest capacity will depend upon the location selected.
The Finish Line Experience includes a venue designed to accommodate up to 100 guests.

What methods of payment do you accept?
Available payment methods may vary depending on whether payment is made through our online booking system or directly through Weddings On The Run.
Accepted payment options may include major credit cards, Apple Pay and other approved electronic payment methods. The payment options available for your transaction will be provided during the booking or payment process.
